seeing the recap show last night, I can't believe how many times, Izzy has been burned by Alex.
Does anyone like Izzy staying with Alex as that seems to be what the writers want.
********************************************
What is this suppose to be, the beautiful girl with no self-confidence so she stays with that same guy forever no matter how he treats her.
***********************************************
And again the best line on tv ever > because that is freaking what Jesus Christ would do.

reading this week's summary > hope this isn't just a tease / pause and she goes back to him > let I be finished with that guy.
it is just that she is too hot and good for him
******************
Izzie (Katherine Heigl) seems to be getting over Alex (Justin Chambers) when it's obvious she shares an undeniable chemistry with Denny Duquette (guest star Jeffrey Dean Morgan), a patient awaiting a heart transplant. Meanwhile, George (T.R. Knight) treats Bex (guest star Becca Gardner), a young teen hermaphrodite.

I love this show Today's episode was good, not the best, but good. The tidy ending kind of bothered me.

so as I like it also....why is this show so good as it really doesn't do anything over the top.
- is it just good writing with very likable characters?

hehe... why have you held it in?
Ya, everyone is just falling in love with this show. The writing is so solid.
I thought last night's episode was good. Not the best of the season but still amazing. I can't wait to see what the Superbowl episode is gonna be like. You guys think it might start matching or closing in on Housewives in the ratings? It seems to be breaking 20 million a couple of times now and Housewives is hovering under 25 million.

Very, very good writing combined with the cast's great delivery of their lines and rapport. The medical aspect of the show is staggeringly inaccurate but the entertainment value is what matters.

This show is awesome. The hot dog scene was funny. I would love if this was a big emmy winner come September. This show is officially now better than Desperate Housewives in my opinion.

Funny you should say that after tonight's episode, lol.
While on the whole I agree that Grey's Anatomy is a better show in its second season than Desperate Housewives, tonight's episode marked the first Sunday of the season in which I thought Housewives was about as good as Anatomy, maybe slightly better.
Not that this in any way means the episode was bad or even just okay (it was GOOD) but I'd probably say it was the weakest of the season. I'm on the hate-Mereditch bandwagon now. She just brings down the show. I also didn't like the interaction between Mereditch and Christina. Was I the only one that felt it just didn't work well?
However cheesy and cliche George's speech might have been at the end, I loved it. I actually did not know that her hesitating was supposed to be a huge thing.
I think there was one patient too many in this episode and none of their storylines recieved the best treatment it could have. Then again, none of them were really that compelling.
I'm starting to do what I did with Alias. I nit-pick at the smallest details or every little thing that annoys me a little because it has turned into a show that I truly love and care about now. Very few shows do that to me. And I didn't realize it until this post!
Next week looks great.

maybe it had to do with me being preoccupied and not just sitting and paying attention but I didn't feel this episode as much as others.
but it did get better at the end with George's speech and then the last scene with everyone.

[spoil]It wasn't really her secert, it is just that they seem to be keeping something from us and that was just my guess > but they did show a picture of her staring into space and then Burke's comments ...........
and then I read this for this week's preview > Tonight, the nurses at Seattle Grace Hospital go on strike -- leaving the doctors to fend for themselves. That is a scary thought, no? Later, Meredith's (Pompeo) mistake in treating an elderly patient is brought to light by the patient's friends (guest stars June Lockhart, Betty Garrett -- a personal fave! -- and Rae Allen), and Izzie (Katherine Heigl) treats a pregnant teenager.
**************
so could Izzy be pregnant??? but I don't know why that would be a big deal to Burke since his Christina just was > so I am not sure where it is going to go but that was just a thought.[/spoil]

I love George
I thought this was another middle of the road epsiode. It just felt empty... possibly because the nurses weren't in the hospital? Bailey wasn't there? Omaly didn't have a patient?
Stikk, it was quite good.
To tell you the truth I was totally out of it and didn't catch on to the Meredith storyline. I kept thinking why are they making her character so stupid... so what if she has to pull the plug. Didn't realize tillshe broke down that she was thinking of her mother the whole time
The Superbowl episode commercial was amazing. Note that the commercial is amazing. They barely showed ANYTHING about the storyline. So, we'll have to see. But it will be huge in the ratings

code black? it's gotta be something to do with a disease outbreak.
something big like that that'll affect everyone in the hospital.

I don't think it's a disease outbreak. That doesn't seem like something that would cause people to freak out in the way the preview depicts.
Ausiello said that he heard that it meant that someone in the hospital had a bomb. That sounds a but more like something that affects all. I guess we'll see.
