Re: HEATH LEDGER JUST DIED
I don't think I have ever, ever been more shocked than I am now. Just, wow. This, is was not to be expected. I've always wondered what it was like to hear about a promising talent, nay, a genuine talent, die in their prime. Now I know. And I really wish I didn't. Wow. I am seriously emotionally hurt right now.

I was just answering Libs's question! This is so so so so sad and depressing. How on Earth could this happen? He was in the best moment of his career?

I still remember going to see 10 Things I Hate About You with some of my girlfriends in college and all of us being like "Oh my godddddd who is that?"

Wasn't really old enough for the Phoenix or Cobain deaths to register, so this has pretty much left me floored. Completely unexpected. Very, very sad.

Re: HEATH LEDGER JUST DIED
I kept looking for the fucking "APRIL FOOLS!" shit somewhere.
This shocks me, a lot. We hear of old, well-known people passing away all the time, and while any death is extremely unfortunate, this one just really rocks me to the core.
This is extremely unfortunate. Oh god... I wonder what Michelle Williams will feel about this. I know the two of them broke up in September 2007, not that long ago.
I'm so sad right now.
Peace, Mike

This is even more sad because he has a 2-year old daughter with Michelle Williams.

Re: HEATH LEDGER JUST DIED
This is terrible. Just terrible. When my friend called me to tell me, I didn't believe him for a solid five minutes. Not only was he extraordinarily talented, not only was he already a big star that was about to become a giant one, but he had was 28 years old and had a two-year old daughter.

Well, he probably went out by choice, so....
His role in Brokeback is one of the great performances of the 21st century.
Poor Terry Gilliam. He may have another Don Quixote on his hands if Parnassus isn't finished filming.

I was just having dinner right now when someone told me. I wasn't sure if they were joking or not.
Wow. Shocking to say the least.

Especially the way it was phrased, worried about Terry Gilliam.

Re: HEATH LEDGER JUST DIED
Well, for my part, I couldn't care less about the film projects, either The Dark Knight or Gilliam's films. I mean, I'll def eventually check out TDK, but whatever.
Not to say I particularly cared about Ledger; I mean, this 'potential legend' talk is complete speculation, and I see little grounds for it.
But, this is a shocking and sad death.

The New York Times is reporting that the apartment Ledger was found in is owned by Mary-Kate Olsen. What. The. Hell. http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/ ... ex.html?hp

Re: HEATH LEDGER JUST DIED
For me this is more shocking then Ritter, who's death came out of no were and that was the only death of my memory, celebrity death were I was sad. RIP. Such a shame, there were always murmurs about stuff he's done, drug wise, btu nothing big. If this were Winehouse I wouldn't have been surprised. TDK will be even more powerful now.
