Would you be interested in this?
A spoiler tag?
This BBCode creates a text box that is minimised so that no one can read or see anything in it. A button is shown that, when clicked, can toggle between showing and hiding the contents of the box. It can can contain URLs, images, etc. just like a normal post.
Fire away.

Yeah, I think this would be a really good idea.

I've seen these and I think overall white text makes it look better. I don't really the button, but I'm OK with it.

I think
In the critics area - spoilers should be allowed and why do you want to have to do things extra things to read the post. YOU ARE REVIEWING THE MOVIE SO THERE ARE GOING TO BE SPOILERS BEING DISCUSSED.
Use it in other areas - if you want.

I'm actually with Goldie about discussing spoilers in the Everyone's A Critic section, but as for this, sure. Why not?
Do you have an example, though? I'm still a little unsure of what this will look like.

Also you are going to need an army of police to monitor this - that spoilers are hidden.
For example, I was reading very sparingly and I caught where the ending scene of the Smiths played out - what one person thinks is a spoiler, others may not.

I just don't like the idea
And for example - what about when you are discussing / debating a spoiler
let the reader beware in the critics section but not in the movie section.

I know what you're saying, Goldie. I also think "Critics" is supposed to be a spoiler zone. That's where movie discussions happen. We don't really need to turn everything white there. Spoilers should be allowed, but others disagree.

Zingaling, here's one example how it could look like:

I personally find it great feature.

I've seen it used before, and I liked it. It wasn't as annoying as white text anyway.
And you guys don't have to put a spoiler warning on everything ever that might hint at a minor detail in a movie. I certainly don't mind if it's something minor, but I don't want to know the entire Batman Begins movie just by reading a review. A lot fo people go into the forum to find out if they want to see the movie or not, and if the review gives the entire movie away, why bother actually going to see the movie?

Sure!
