When I click on the typing area, it only stays active for a few seconds before going grey (as if I clicked outside the typing area). So every ten or so letters typed, I have to click that area again to type more.

Very frustrating, and only started happening last night.

Anybody else ever had this?

On my old malfunctioning android yes.

When I write on my phone if I write too long of a post, the writing area goes over the submit button so I can't send the message. But I haven't had the problem like you happen to me.

I'm having this issue as well. If I continuously type it helps, but UGH.

Hasn't happened yet today. But sure, if I continuously type, like really fast, then it would be ok, but if I hesitated even for a tenth of a second, it would go grey again!
