When uploading an avatar, you must make sure that the avatar is blow the 80x80 size specifications. Even then some people will not be able to upload avatars.

There are ways around this problem however.

If you wish to have a personal image as your avatar, you can upload the image to a photbucket account, and then copy it's link to the "Link to off site avatar" section.

If you just want a random picture from the internet, you can search using google to find the desired picture - right click it - copy the image location link - paste it into the "Link to off site avatar" section in your profile.

Hope that helps.

correct.

Cotton you can have avatars bigger than 80x80 if you use the link to off site avatar feature.

To do so you have to find a picture that is hosted somewhere on the web, right click it, copy the image location, and enter that into the "link to off site avatar" box. Then you can get an avatar bigger than 80x80.
