 Potential New Forum Style - Requesting Input http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=1098Your thoughts? Absolutely no ETA. Colors would be changed to fit, so no green like in the demo. It'd probably be a dark blue where the green is, and a red where the pink is.

Re: Potential New Forum Style - Requesting Input I'd prefer it to the current one, but I remember the uproar the first time when the board and site moved from it's original setup to one that's similar to the one in the link. Not too many people enjoyed the avatar being on the right. I also remember that it threw off some of the charts people had setup (like in Groucho's Tomatometer game). You'd probably want to include the option to have both the style in the link, and a style where the board setup is normal, if it's possible to have options.

Re: Potential New Forum Style - Requesting Input Yeah. I don't like name and avatar being on the right. It goes against every usual chat/message board style for no apparent reason. IMHO it' better when you first read who's saying something then read the message as opposed to reading the message first then finding out who it is from. I mean we would definitely get used to it, but for me it's a case of bad design. Other than that the style is relatively speaking similar in look an feel to this one, so the change wouldn't be that big. I still remember than horrible bad style we had for a while.
