it looks like alias didnt get 10 million viewers this time. check this article by reuters:

"And the "Idol" effect continued to deflate the 9 p.m. competition from ABC's "Alias" (9.7 million, 3.9/9), CBS' combo of "The King of Queens" (9.5 million, 3.2/8) and "Yes, Dear" (9.9 million, 3.6/9) and NBC's "The West Wing" (10.7 million, 3.2/8)."

and it looks like idol did get a little over 24 million viewers

"At 9 p.m., "Idol" delivered 24.3 million viewers and a 10.3/25 in the key demo, which marked a decline from the show's performance in recent weeks in its hourlong Wednesday format."

Perhaps this was supposed to be in the TV forum, yet something went wrong and it ended up over here?
