Awwwwesome.

I'll be reading threads now that I've never bothered to open to read before. Now I just scroll over it and find out what it's about. Nice.

Peace,
Mike.

Loading of the forum or the threads? If it's the forum, I think I can optimize the code a little, because the SQL in there is f'd up.

The first time I saw this hover stuff I thought it was a bug and came here to report it only to find this thread saying it was a feature.

Since then I've come to really like it, good job.

I gotta agree with above posters, that for some reason I've noticed considerably slower downloading of new pages, opening threads, submitting posts, etc., recently. I've been on more than one computer, but all of them fairly high speed, so I don't think its just the wireless I've been bumming off of neighbors here.

Yeah, or at least make a way to disable it for some people.

No problems here. KJ still loads as quickly as it always has.

I've been wondering if people actually use this feature or not. Because I see a lot of views without replies on some threads. Why view when you can just hover, at least for cases where it isn't a really long, wordy first post or has pictures and such.

No, it was disabled a little while back when I replaced the old forum with this new one. As of now there are no plans to bring it back since I am planning to move the forum to PHPBB 3.0 sometime this summer.
