Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
I don't dislike Corpse or have problems with him personally, but I do think the possibility of someone who lied about their identity for so long for no apparent reason ending up as the head honcho of this website is a little sketchy. Just my take.

Frankly, this whole thing stinks. Argos being disqualified only once he made the top three? Corpse being allowed to run at all? A Jew potentially winning? It's disgraceful.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
Eagle observing the election:
Argos declared his intention to run. Ah, yes! "Candidates like [him] were what I was looking for, and I believe now more than ever that this process will succeed."
Argos ran his campaign. Lo! "[He] really did run a good campaign. It was odd, unique and certainly fit [his] style, but it also seemed somewhat genuine. I'm glad [he] ran, and I don't think [he] would make a bad admin, [he] ha[s] a levelheadedness that is required to be an admin." "Overall Argos did an admirable job with his candidacy."
Argos ended up being in the top three. Hm! "I wouldn't feel comfortable with him as Admin and I have reservations about how serious he would take the position."

Having said that, you've got to understand that Corpse has done some things that have led to serious trust issues for many, and justifyably so. That's nobody's fault but his. I understand, considering what's at stake, why those things should be brought up now.

Did anyone honestly think Argos would make the Top 3 over MikeQ.?! So Argos actually became a serious threat, huh? Honestly I did think Argos could make the top 3 because there was a substantial overlap between torrino and MikeQ supporters.

Eagle, I think it's very obvious that you were never at any point comfortable with Argos running. But instead of being honest with the board, you hoped that the voters would bail you out. It's truly ironic that you will not allow Argos to run, but allow someone like Corpse to run. His past is even shadier than Argos'. And even though my vote will most likely go to Torrino, I will withhold my vote until you reinstate Argos and make this a fair election.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
It just happened that the date I set to remove candidates was after the nomination process. When this was originally started, it was intended that the top 5 move on, things evolved differently than expected. I'll learn and evolve with it for next time.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
I dont even know any candidate besides corpse. But Argos did make me uncomfortable. Somehow he did not seem serious to me and I made that observation in the the thread where candidates declared their intention to run.
I was not even aware of corpse past until couple of days back(I thought corpse was a girl based on BO reports last summer in this site). To me that makes me seriously question his eligibility. I must admit I changed my vote to MikeQ who I felt handled this the best so far.
As things stand I would vote for torrino.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
Glad you have done as I suggested before, not opening voting right away
Any more details on what is included in your townhall meeting and how it will be done (as it is a week away). Are users involved where they will get to propose questions?
Upcoming Steps:
-- Candidates reveal their rules (June 20th) -- Townhall Meeting (June 21st) (Subject to change based on scheduling) -- Voting Begins (June 25th) -- Voting Stops (July 5th) (Extended as I'll be out of town) -- Winner Announced (July 6th or 7th)

You removed Grill before the nomination process, and could have done the very same with Argos.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
My real complaint wasnt so much the removal of Argos. It was because Argos was removed so late in the game that votes that could have went to Mike caused him to be eliminated in the process. That said Corpse does seem to work harder than the other candidates at trying to get elected. Hes never been warned or banned so how should be exempted from the election. It seems like a witch hunt to me

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
So if Argos could just get removed and make the whole votey thingie pointless then what is the point of this nonsense? I have no problem with Karl doing whatever he likes the man pays the bills its his call but for the love of titty twisting christ don't be bothering with stuff like this if thats what you want to do.
