When's the new design going to take effect?

Oh, and it looks pretty cool. Can't wait for the new chat room.

The site design looks exactly like naturalflux7. Which isn't bad....I like that design.

Aww shucks

Flatterer!

It does look pretty similar but alot of portals do.
But NF7 is changing soon [not too soon - lotttts more personal stuff happening; been the busiest year of my life] anyway - the forums will remain on a portal basis and will keep the same look but the mainsite should be pretty different. Its trying to get a balance between functionality and design thats taking so long; draughting a company for coding also weakens my confidence [and costs me money  ]

But overall - portal systems are great for websites; i still wonder why you guys are on a phpbb with such a big community; ive said it before and ill say it again. Get a Vb!

P.S people shouldn't really whine over the ignore button, its a standard feature on nearly every site online...

I kind of agree. If you want to use it, do so. If you don't, you don't have to. It's not mandatory

I agree - as long as it doesn't take away any possible item that stops something else from being used.

----------------

If people want to use it, they can. If people don't like it, they don't have to.

Gives the person a choice and it doesn't effect anyone else either way.

I'm not sure yet what I think of the ignore feature. But I don't see the need for major changes in the forum in general. The old saying if it aint broke don't fix it comes to mind. The site has been looking and acting better than it ever has.

Is there a way for the new chatroom to have voice capabilities so we can talk to eachother?

The ignore feature doesn't bother me, I just don't use it. One problem that I have noticed, is immaturity on the part of one person who knows he's being ignored, resulting in posting several times in a thread, sometimes back to back, and that makes it look like spam. I can ignore all by myself if I really want to , and as long as I'm not being personally attacked.

I like the ranks, but those dots would probably serve as good posting incentives.

I'll be glad to see the current sidebars go in favor of what you described.
I'd still love to see the title of the last post replied to displayed on the index page.

Well Mav actually brought up some interesting points =D> =D> =D>

- he comments that he would ignore as long as he isn't personally being attacked - I agree with that as GOLDIE, as I showed Baba yesterday, that GOLDIE will also defend himself when personally attacked.

I have seen people come into my posts and curse, make fun, disrupt things etc. and then GOLDIE has replied.

- I will have a later comments on other non-MODS reporting issues to the MODS rather than handling themselves by acting like a cowboy's posse.

- And I am not sure what poster MAV is discussing above.

I know I do this, post additional comments in my / other threads - but since GOLDIE is usually not looking for answers replies, he is producing facts, GOLDIE'S opinions are facts, that aren't needed to be replied to.

That are statements made for others, lurkers included, benefit.

He couldn't be talking about me, I wonder who he is talking about.
