Is there any way to ignore thread titles?

As much as this feature kicks - im not going to use it; theres no real advantage from just IGNORING peoples posts on your own except this way you can find out whos bitching about you

can ignore anyone .. it blocks pms ... well the pm is sent but says you have this person ignored.

so that means that we can ignore any rules they set.


(btw I have 0 on my ignore list)

Unfourtunatly no. We can still read your posts, and still ban you even if you don't read the warnings.

If you ignore someone, and then change your mind and unignore them, will their posts be visible in their regular place? The ignore feature just "covers up" all of the posts by that person, right? So if you want to unignore them, all the posts that you previously didn't see, will reappear, correct? No posts are actually LOST.

It goes right back to normal. Give it a test drive and hit the ignore button on somebody. It just says so and so is on your ignore list in all of their posts. (although you can see their posts if they are quoted by someone) If you want to go back to normal, just click on unignore. :wink:

Cool, I tried it out. It's actually very nicely done. Hides their posts very well. Not distracting. There is only one person I would ever want to put on my ignore list, and even then, I'm not likely to keep him/her on the list, because curiosity would be killing me on just what they said, heh. Also, I am always surprised on how good of a post can sometimes pop out of some people.

If I randomly ignore people and place them on my signiture list, does that go against the rules about provoking people?

Are you sure this works, I just want to test it and sent a ?ignore? post to XXX=Name withheld=XXX - I picked ???????????? as they told me that they would never un-ignore me after setting the button.

It didn't come back as with the above message.

If this is not broken I guess it is a way to see if someone has you on the ignore list.

HELP! I ignored myself and I cant read any messages I typed. I cant seem to unignore myself so I tried to send myself a private message asking Roid to unignore me but he cant

Hey Rogue, don't feel bad as there are otherS, who were much more vocal in using the ignore button on GOLDIE, that did the same thing.

Thanks. But as I stated, I don't think it serves a good purpose (for me). You've not done anything to me, so why should I ignore you? Besides, like you said, everyone is human, and everyone has their own personality. Everyone contributes something, though some less then others. So I find it easier to simply scroll over a post then completely ignore it. :wink:
