I would complain about large file sizes in signatures for the same reason as i mentioned in the Flash tags thread.
People have bandwidth restrictions these days and giant images of SUperman taking off; or people who havent bothered to crop their images and are hotlinking are creating big drains on those restrictions.
Im calling for flash tags because it allows users to display animations without having to kill our bandwidth and make the page slow down.
