The only thing I have to say regarding this dispute is that, well, baumer wouldn't have to "continue" this on the forums (instead of PMs) if you had never started it on the forums (instead of PMs), Mav.
You coul have easily PMed baumer in the very beginning and say what you had to say, but you chose to start it public, so if baumer decides to continue it public (although he was brought back into the thread by RAWSAW), I don't see why you're accusing him of "continuing" this dispute.
Furthermore, other than him calling you childish and a drama queen, I found nothing else worthy of even being discussed as an insult to you, Mav. And, it's not like all the mods are going to side with you because you're Maverikk. Whether you choose to believe it or not, you're just like the rest of us...human (except Mr. X...). And, we're all wrong at some point.
You're wrong here.
And, for the record, I still think you're a cool guy (and a lucky predictor ), and your time (and our time) would be much better and fun if you guys could just settle this instead of letting it go on, accusing each other of doing one thing or another, and insulting those who get involved.

Zing, if you think I'm such a cool guy, then why have you stabbed me in the back in the past? Don't defend baumer. RAWSAW was not the reason baumer decided to continue taking shots that were uncalled for.

Hmm. Well, I don't recall this "backstab" you speak of, but if you want to talk about it, a PM is fine with me.
But, regarding the topic at hand, don't you think that if you had PMed him in the beginning, none of this would have been public?
Obviously, you started it.

Well, technically, baumer should have kept our whole argument private in the first place. He was the first one to ever take it to the forums.

Congrats 72.
Btw, what's the job of Head Mod, and how come some of 'older' mods didn't get that position? And where are the friday numbers?
And can we have a Box Office Bash Cantina thread? Or Friday Numbers Waiting Thread? And will the Knicks improve this season?
Also, any news of phpBB boards improving it's tags for forums? Some new forum features? Can we also have less stickies in various forums?
WorldofKJ's Derby like game, will we have it someday? Calculator on site?
That's all for now.

I don't know if a WOKJ derby type game would be sucessful on this site, could we have it? Sure were open to suggestions. If we did have it though, we would have entries for BOP, BOM, Numbers, and every other site that does Predictions.
As for a calculator ... also something we could look into if enough people cared.
As for Forum tags, please elaborate.
Mod Team Leader was a position me and arsi felt was needed, we went outside the current mods for various reasons, mainly to provide a 3rd party insight into the Modding.
Box Office Cantina I have no idea what that is, Friday Numbers Waiting thread ... be my guest.
Oh and the Knicks will never improve with Thomas running the team.

As for his "shot" at you. He called you "10 years old". I suppose you could consider that degrading. Unfourtunatly in that aspect you have no right to talk, as you have done the exact same thing to me personally, as well as countless members in the forum.
You know, you're right. I started to type that first reply before I'd read to the end of the thread(at that time). After it was up I noticed that the subject was just about put to rest. My mistake, let the lynchings begin..... You know what is nice to see? That just about everyone here doesnt want to see them fighting. Sort of says something doesnt it guys.
Sorry for bringing any of this up again.

Ahh it's OK rawsaw.
They are adults, and can handle themselves accordingly. Even the best of friends fight sometimes.

Even if Rusty always puts me down, I know he loves me with his big Tim Hortons coffee-lovin' heart. Aww.

I don't think Rawsaw knows what Tim Horton's is.

True. I guess we'll have to use big American words like "Starbucks" and "Mocha Frappachino".

I have to be honest here and say I really am not overly thrilled with the duplication of modding abilities form BOM to here. It isn't about qaulifications, it's about tone, and feel. I don't want this place to feel like BOM.
That's not any jab at baumer being a mod, don't misread it. It's a general "health of the forum" type comment, about the direction the board is going in, and not a complaint about anyone in particular. And to tell you the truth I dont think I'm alone in that sentiment.
And that should not be misinterpreted as taking Mav's side in this debate above. My comment was unrelated to that totally.
Hopefully that is enough disclaimers to avoid someone completely misunderstanding but on the internet, you never know.
By the way, Tony, get off my lawn you whippersnapper.
I think the admins really dictate the mood, not the mods. The BOM mods - MikeQ, baumer, RAWSAW, Mr. X, Libs, etc... were all great at following direction and doing what was expected of them from the admins and I think adjusted very well between the sites. So, just because a lot from BOM are in the same position at KJ, doesn't translate into the same website or mood. This place still feels very different to me than BOM.
But, with that being said, I think there is a large group of people here that were never mods at BOM that would be great considerations if the need ever arises... loyalfromlondon, Krem, and Archie come to mind off hand. All of those seem a little older, wiser, and pretty responsible individuals.

I'd also like to point out that the quality mods at BOM - the ones that really did all the work - Mr X and myself are not here. MikeQ, baumer, and Libs just sat on their ass and had a "hands off" approach while we did the dirty work.

That ain't true. I liked getting dirty.

Only when dirty meant dressing up in a shark costume, and performing some roleplaying.

I didn't realize cops did anything but sit on their ass and eat donuts.

What an absolutely terrific thread! I can't believe I didn't bother reading it for as long as I did!

That was embarressing. Thankfully, I don't think either of the two then newbies ever returned.
Wonder why?
