 This site takes forever to load Hi Admin,
Have you done something recently that would make this site harder to load?
Before about a week ago, this forum was the fastest forum I've been on, and that's one of the main reasons why I loved it more than all the others. But now it's so slow, and takes forever to load one page. Sometimes half a page loads, then the other half just stops, and it's all terribly frustrating. I'm constantly hitting refresh but nothing really happens, it still takes ages.
I don't get it.
All other sites that I frequent are loading in the same fast speed as normal apart from this one.
Any ideas?
I am in China, but as I mentioned earlier, that shouldn't matter as before a week ago this site was a blessing and was loading incredibly fast.

Re: This site takes forever to load But you're in America where Internet speeds are incredibly fast. A slight change to the site might mean that you won't notice any difference, but it might mean that the site is incredibly slow in other parts of the world. We have slow Internet speeds over here, but up until a week ago WOKJ was very fast.

Re: This site takes forever to load Have you tried clearing your cache? Have you tried Google Chrome in Incognito mode?
I haven't made any administrative changes that would affect page speed, nor have I noticed any slowdown myself.

Re: This site takes forever to load It may just be Chrome or your internet. A few months ago I had a problem with Chrome for like a week where it took a while for a site to load (say 30-45 seconds) but then the site would work fine after loaded in the tab.
