Post Movie Awards
Please use this thread to offer feedback to the presentors, speech writers, and hosts.

We all know they did an amazing job, and we want to improve on it in the future, so please let us hear your thoughts on what could be improved!

Some questions for thought:

Did the speed of the server slow you down? Make you post less? Make it hard to keep up?

Did you enjoy the way it was laid out? speeches?

Were you happy with the date it was held on? Would you prefer another night of the week?

Anything you would like to see changed in the nomination/voting process?

Once again I would just like to thank everyone that collected votes, helped send PM's, organized and hosted the event as well as everyone involved. You all did quite an amazing job. =D>

I would have preferred this type of thing on a chat room, but I prefer anything in a chatroom, the superior form of itnernet communication, but meh.

I'm actually relieved at the awards tonight. They aren't as boring as the nomination ceremony was.

Here are some comments that I have from scanning the awards.

In general, everything looks good.

- I think there should have been a recap on the front page or in a seperate thread as Libs did for the Oscars. I know I saw people asking for the results.

- Also, I LOVE - yes LOVE, LOVE, LOVE - the disclosing of the results - Hopefully Lecter will do this for other awards he runs. I know I asked for this but he said NO.

Don't you think that the results should be disclosed for all awards - IMO, it is fun to see - What do you think? I am only asking because I have asked multiple times and it has always said no. Hopefully others like it and public opinion will change his mind.

Other than that, very nice.

Once again you bring Lecter into it. Please don't. As to the rest of your comments, the recap will be added lately. Unfortunately the hosts are so busy they can't go back in and edit their pages. They have multiple screens open and had it not been for that, this show owuld be twice as long. You comment is noted though, and next time around we'll asign a MOD who is allowed to go in and edit the first post without the hosts consent. I'll try to do it now even.

The whole awards thing is random. Probably if anyone asks the counters will release it, so if a category interest you, just ask and they will provide.

Thanks for the comments.

Goldie normally we leave it up to the host. They are putting a ton of time and effort into it so they can run it how they feel best. I do agree, I like to see how close people were, lets you anazlyze the vote a little more, but I understand if some people don't want to disclose it, and in the end it is their decision.

I prefer a non disclosure of votes.

I'm not a big one for the sheer number of categories, because it makes everything go on forever. (voting, counting, ceremony, etc...) That can be offputting to voters and people who are at the ceremony.

I'm all for recapping being done in either the first post, or a seperate thread, but that shouldn't be a hosts' responsibility. It's too much to have to worry about. Anybody can do that in a seperate thread, if they really want easy access to results.

The server speed was awesome. Thanks, guys! It would have been a nightmare without a fast moving upload of pages.

I was cool about the Sunday showdate, but it doesn't matter to me. Many awards are held on Sundays.

I enjoyed the speeches and conversations going on. I read all 49 pages as I was unwinding afterwards.

I was glad that there was no fighting going on during the show itself.

Yes the votes were fun to look at, but it seem to get people going it lost by one vote and stuff. maybe we shouldnt show them next time.
