Can the mods please do something about this? There is very little discussion in any of these threads. Grill just continues to bump up his threads over and over again. Granted, he does have a couple threads that create some discussion. Those he doesn't spam. But he spams the hell out of the ones that get no attention from anyone else. A little bit about what I'm talking about. This is just the first page of the Cinemania. I'm sure I could find even more examples if I had more time to go through the Cinemania.

And before Grill comes in and tells me not to look at those threads, yes I know I can do that. But all he does is bump the decent threads off the first page by bumping his own to the top. The threads could easily die and fall to the fifth or sixth page, but Grill continues to bump them up even if no one else has replied. And yes I know Lector creates a lot of threads too. But his threads are news and he doesn't keep bumping his threads up every chance he gets.

If you elect me President of the World of KJ, I will find the final solution to the Grill question.

I think this is the key problem with Grill's threads.

Threads live and die by a kind of natural selection - - the most popular ones survive near the top of the forum because they are the ones that create the most discussion. It's survival of the fittest.

Grill, on the other hand, unnaturally keeps his Frankensteinesque threads artificially alive by repeated, purposeless bumping, often with copied poll results as each single new vote comes in. Aaaiiieeeee!!!

And as Speevy says, this pushes the truly viable and interesting threads down, drowned in a sea of Grill...

wow more whiners, 5 threads on the first page (of 35 threads).

and how about setting me to ignore as the same 5 to 10 keep on complaining

also add in all the poll voters, that vote cause they like the threads

Anywho, I've decided my biggest issue is not with grill's idiotic spamming/threads. It's with the way he title his threads, and especially the way he reacts to even the slightest criticism of him.
1. every thread title is about as convoluted and unnecessarily long as he can possibly make it. This is simply annoying to see, not a huge concern or anything, but it just reminds me of all the grill posts I've been subject too, and that makes me sick (not swine-flu sick, but my tummy and head start to ache and I feel gasy)
2. this is the much bigger issue. I believe (based on my read of the lecter grill/goldie thread that was bumped a month or two ago) that this is the reason goldie was banned from the site, and considering everyone keeps saying he is goldie ( I don't know if he is or not, I don't even know who golide was, but that's what I hear) it sounds like he has gone back to his old ways. I've become accustomed to personal attacks and snide remarks on this website, it's a way of life, but grill's are so ill formed, radical, and obnoxious. Datorri simply comments on a thread title and grill jumps him and makes fun of him having no college life or some non-sense. This also happened with someone else recently where grill made some big personal attack and then apologised when he finally figured out the other poster was not insulting him and just commenting.
IMHO, this needs to stop. I have never and still do not have a problem with grill on his own. When he's just posting/chatting he's fine, an annoying way of typing, but if I can deal with Korrgan's I can deal with grills. However whenever anyone says the slightest rude thing, or critical comment he explodes, and I don't want to be melted alive by spewing grilava just for commenting on how much he bumped his own thread.
Once again, I am not trying to tell a mod how to do their job, or anything like this, I am simply putting forth my opinion. Considering I've only been here a few months, if you say tough shit, fair enough, I just wanted to voice this.

Like I've said before many times grill, its more the reactions that bother me than the thread titles, however those are obnoxious.
The point of a thread title is to be a basic label of what it is. For instance my thread which you recently attacked, "My Theater" being in the BO forum people get a clear idea of what is going on. This is my theater and I will be providing ticket information relevant to the box office. If it were you it would be "My Theater> ticket sales for*** weekly information on///new movies&&&holdovers!!!!" It's really not a huge deal, just a confusing and annoying way to communicate.
Anyway, since I am merely trying to reach a reasonable bargain and am tired of this ever growing mountain of hostility, and the mods/adms/eagle aren't tacking notice or are just tired of trying to deal with all of this, I am growing tired of it and may have to take your suggestion and simply ignore you from now on.
