 Avengers 4 or Star Wars 9? Which sequel are you more interested in?
I’m probably more interested in Avengers 4, I think it has more interesting directions it could go, even though The Last Jedi was technically better than Infinity War.

Agree with this. Until there's a trailer Avengers 4 is a complete surprise of what and how for me. SW9 is just like, ah, another SW film.

Re: Avengers 4 or Star Wars 9? This just reinforces to me where the new Star Wars trilogy has failed. MCU is supposed to be the series with fun but disposable action pieces and where trades in a dramatic ceiling for lighthearted humor. Star Wars is supposed to have the epic long term mythology and stakes. Yet the hook of what's going to happen next in SW pretty meh compared to the OMGcliffhanger of Avengers 4. Maybe if they didn't piggyback half the reboot on original trilogy characters.

I'm more excited for SW9. It's rumoured that several of the old Avengers may die. It's also possible that some of the new ones may die. Maybe Chris Pratt is fed up of being tied down to two huge franchises that don't give him time for any other projects? Maybe Marvel think Doctor Strange is expendable for shock factor and he can pass the mantle of being 'the old one' (or whatever it was called) to another actor to continue that franchise. Maybe Sony wants out of its Marvel deal and it will be the end of this Spider-Man, and the remaining Homecoming films are all pre-Infinity War prequels (this would be very dumb, but dumber decisions have been made by studios). Maybe Disney realize that Chadwick Boseman isn't really that charismatic or interesting and they want another actor to take up the 'Blank Panther' mantle (Shuri?), which the story allows for.
So we don't really know what's going to happen tbh.

I also don't think so, from what I know fans pretty much loved the PT, and it ended on a pretty good note too. Interesting who one film, TLJ, alienated its fans so easily. Solo I haven't seen it, or read much about it, so not sure the status on that.
