Because there are many gorgeous models who look better than any good actress/actor in Hollywood who could easily start appearing in movies just for their looks, and become a popular figure just like the talent-less Jessica Alba.
I think that if you only take actors whose success lies in their ability more than their looks, yet whose looks are definitely a plus for them, it would be more interesting.

It's very rare that I find an actress that I find attractive and talented. I suppose Kate Winslet would fit the bill.

Re: Actors/Actresses you find physically attractive I agree that talent and personality has something to do with it, because there are plenty of actresses who look good in a still picture but seem so talentless or vacant that they lose their appeal. A stupid beautiful woman doesn't appeal to me hardly at all compared to a smart, talented one! Tina Fey > Pamela Anderson.
There are also some actresses in older films that, from their pictures wouldn't be that appealing but the way they move and act are just plain sexy: Marilyn Monroe, the young Sophia Loren, and Audrey Hepburn come to mind.
Hmmm. I'll try to come up with a list later when I have more time. It might be interesting to see how different my list might be from you kids.
