Re: Who is your favorite Disney princess?
I've always had a soft spot for Cinderella. Belle is the best though, hands down.
Aurora is probably the worst. Barely in her own movie.

Re: Who is your favorite Disney princess?
Tiana impresses me. She's independent, doesn't need a man to save her (but finds she wants one), wants to be an independent business owner in a time when women (much less black women) did that sort of thing... Mulan, too, for many of the same reasons. It's because, unlike most of the others, they weren't born a "princess" and had to make their own way.

Dr. Lecter wrote: Merida because for once there is no man at all in the story. I agree! I voted for Belle because I'm the most like her ("odd", bookworm, etc), but Merida's a close second because her story is so unique (and I've also got a strong Scottish background).

Oh, like grow a pair of ovaries? Which are way friggin' stronger than a pair of balls? Well, I do have ovaries and I'm proud as hell to have 'em.

Re: Who is your favorite Disney princess?
That is weird, but I still side with you. Balls are definitely more sensitive though as they are on the outside. Kind of a bad statement. Ovaries might as well be your spleen.
I just disagree on the fact the ovaries are equivalent to balls. They are Women parts with no relation to anything. You need a better body part that is equivalent to saying "grow balls" I mean what does grow ovaries even mean?

Pull your fucking tampons out and grow a pair. Would this thread be more acceptable to you if the question was: Who is your favorite Disney heroine?

In their films Elsa - I have anxiety and repression problems so that character and metaphors is a little closer to home for me. But I haven't seen a lot of these films in forever. Snow White in Once Upon a Time is closer to my heart than any of the original versions though

Pull your fucking tampons out and grow a pair. You ever notice how the ones who protest the most about sexual identity are always the ones who are in the closet themselves?

Re: Who is your favorite Disney princess?
Is having a favorite Disney princess really a correlation to sexual identity? I mean almost every princess is the same. They want something more, think they have it, lose it, and get it in the end.
They are always the weak link of the story.

It's Ariel for me. She was the first Disney princess that I saw in a film, and I always loved 'Part of Your World'.
Not sure what Algren's issue is with this; spinach is my favourite vegetable, that doesn't mean I want to be a vegetable myself. People have opinions on things, what a fucking revelation.

Re: Who is your favorite Disney princess?
Warning: I'm going to go a bit off-topic, but just to reply to a reply to me. In order to be a little bit on topic, I see that Belle is currently winning in the poll... Gotta love them intelligent bookworms! Thegun wrote: That is weird, but I still side with you. Balls are definitely more sensitive though as they are on the outside. Kind of a bad statement. I just disagree on the fact the ovaries are equivalent to balls. They are Women parts with no relation to anything. You need a better body part that is equivalent to saying "grow balls" I mean what does grow ovaries even mean? Ovaries are female gonads; testes are male gonads. They serve the same basic purposes. So I'd say the equivalent is fine. And in fact, one could say "Grow some 'nads" and it would be all-encompassing. Although, in terms of strength, I'd say the uterus and vagina are a heck of a lot stronger than ovaries or testicles, considering what they go through monthly and/or during labor. I do somewhat apologize for how harshly my post may have come out. It's just kinda difficult being a woman surrounded mostly by guys in most of my fandoms & special interest groups and after a while, certain types of posts start to grate on my nerves the wrong way... PS: http://www.herbs2000.com/h_menu/gl_ovaries_testes.htm; http://info.visiblebody.com/bid/270751/ ... ve-Anatomy (this one has medical illustrations, so probably nsfw)
