A move in the right direction for RAMBO 4!
From the November issue of Maxim
" Maxim: Since you're still in fighting shape, will Rambo be back, too?
Stallone: There has been movement in that area, yes. Of course, it won't be what you think - not the same Rambo with the headband. In keeping with some sort of believability, he would be passing the torch to a younger generation of high-tech combatants. We're working on an interesting premise where Rambo is brought back from living on a ranch somewhere, and because of his skills in jungle warfare and survival, he's asked to lead a young group in a search-and-rescue mission. They can't believe this decrepit guy is a war hero, but when their technology fails, they see where Rambo excels."
--------------
I think this is a brilliant premise, well, a basis anyway, it shows that technology isnt as good as everybody thinks it is. i cant wait for this, just wish he'd hurry up and make it

I do think that is the best possible premise they could develop, but still. rambo!? man thats a trip down memory lane. I wonder if his first lesson to the new agents would be diction?

It sounds like a combined ripoff of The Hunted and Tears of the Sun. Who cares though? I'll see it anyways.

A move in the right direction??? I'll tell ya what would be a move in the right direction for this would be in the direction of the garbage because if this guy hasn't managed his $$$$ well throughout his illustrious career back through the 80's with all the ROCKY and RAMBO movies?? Then he's a fucking fool.. With as much $$$ as he's made off of this stuff, he should be retired and relaxing comfortably..

Algren's right! If Sly makes a Rambo 4 it would be for the Oscar, not for the money.

I am a fan, and I do not want to see a half-ass, half-wit, stupid plot, get him a gun and get his shirt off in front of the camera-film for Stallone, I dont want a half baked film to suck the life from the Legacy and cheapen the films further. Thats what I dont want to see.
Seriously are there no other scripts in the universe do we need to consider RAMBO 4
