 Most Un-Biased Review Site Was reading fivethirtyeight and thought this chart was fascinating:  Fandango and IMDB, even Metacritic, tend to have a favorite rating, with Fandango rating higher than anything. Metacritic seems to be fairly balanced all the way around, with RT actually being a love it/hate it site, as far as their critics go. Re: Most Un-Biased Review Site I'm not sure why anyone would trust Fandango though. High scores make people more likely to give them money. I'd expect the same amount of honesty from television ads.
Metacritic is definitey the best, but it still needs context.

Re: Most Un-Biased Review Site I remember reading that sites like Fandango always round-up. So if the real score is 4.5, it will show up as 5. If it's 2.1, it will show up as 2.5. Or in cases that there is no half-scores, if it is 4.1, it will also show up as 5. I think it was cinema sites that obviously want people to buy movie tickets, so they incorrectly round-up.

You can't mathematically prove unbiasness of movie reviews since an actual has to exist to compare it to. Since reviews are opinions, it is impossible to have an actual grade of quality.

But from what I can see Metacritic's way of getting a final grade seems to be the most "correct" one.
