Not a great month for smaller releases, but then I guess it is July.

Almost every month the answer is pretty much the same. The biggest blockbuster.
Jason Bourne

Nothing I am really excited about, but I guess Jason Bourne if I have to pick.

 Re: Most anticipated July release?
It was between The Purge: Election Year, Lights Out, and Indignation, but ultimately I went with The Purge. It would have been The Shallows had it not been moved up to June.

Cafe Society and Captain Fantastic look good. Blockbusters continue to inspire zero excitement

 Re: Most anticipated July release?
I'll see a few of these in theaters, and others at home, but this is probably my least anticipated July in a very long time. I won't be making plans on catching any of them opening day.

 Re: Most anticipated July release?
No matter how excited I am for a film, I wouldn't ever see it on opening day. Just because it is very busy and my enjoyment will be lessened by most likely lots of people (idiots) being present and talking, munching popcorn etc. The only exception is if I have that day completely free and I can see it at 10am or something early before the evening crowds. Then the cinema is usually empty. I have done that a few times.
