 Best Martin Scorsese Film
Though he's not a very diverse director, when it comes to Oscar bait dramas, nobody does it better.
Cape Fear is my favorite.

 Re: Best Martin Scorsese Film
Out of all those, I like Casino the most.
I like Casino because the narration by DeNiro is more interesting than in Goodfellas. Sharon Stone was good in it. Pesci did a good job too but DeNiro is more fun to watch in this film. It's not exactly a mobster film like Goodfellas since DeNiro's character was more of a business entrepenuer but that's what makes this more easy to watch all the way through than a film like Goodfellas or the Departed.

The Departed
However I almpost don't remember Goodfellas at all. I need to rewatch that before finally deciding. Liked The Departed more than Raging Bull and Taxi Driver, though.

Taxi Driver is overrated drivel, I tried to watch that film twice and fell asleep both times.

 Re: Best Martin Scorsese Film
You should probably just stick to making ridiculous box office predictions, then.

 Re: Best Martin Scorsese Film
Taxi Driver > Raging Bull
The latter has a better De Niro performance, though.

 Re: Best Martin Scorsese Film
One thing that bothered me about The Departed, and I don't remember the film very well, it's been over a year since I've seen it.
That disk. Why wasn't it copied and sent out to media or some proper authorities and then lay low? I can understand not trusting the F.B.I. given the plot, but wouldn't you think to send copies to someone? It wouldn't have allowed the climax though, or maybe?

 Re: Best Martin Scorsese Film
I updated and restarted the poll.
Mine:
1. The Departed 2. The Wolf of Wall Street 3. Hugo 4. Shutter Island 5. Taxi Driver
Note: I haven't seen Mean Streets and I didn't take Goodfellas and Casino into account either because it has been way too long since I have seen them. Raging Bull is overrated, though, IMO.

 Re: Best Martin Scorsese Film
Goodfellas is his best, but others are very close. I really liked Gangs of New York, for instance, even though that's usually not in everyone's top five. Other contenders for me are The Departed, Hugo, and The Aviator.
Admittedly, haven't seen them all.
