Re: RANK Black Swan, The Fighter and True Grit? This is actually a quite sensible poll from Grill. This combined with the reasonable posts he's been making this Fall seem to bode well for 2011 potentially turning out to be the Year of the Grill.
(I still need to see The Fighter, so I haven't voted yet, and I am disappointed that the one other big holiday Oscar bait movie wasn't included here.)

Well, I've done gone and wasted my time on the pointless soap opera that is The Fighter. And I might answer Grill's question of ranking by saying that they're all equally lame, but True Grit is slightly the better of these three by virtue of it's humor. If I were to include The King's Speech, it would obviously be at the top of the list, but even then it hardly blew the doors off the competition. December is the traditional dumping ground for these Oscar bait movies, but they're certainly not the best pictures of the year. The King's Speech
