Any Beatles fans out there? I'm with the Weinstein Company, getting the word out about Nowhere Boy -- a film that chronicles John Lennon's formative years. It was a huge hit over in the UK and will surely be loved by music and film fans in the States when it hits theaters on October 8. Check out the trailer and please let me know what you think! Will you be seeing it in theaters?

Nobody here is a fan of the Beatles.

I definitely want to see this. It looks good. Though I'm mostly interested because I really like Aaron Johnson. If it comes to my theater I'll see it.

On a side note, I wish Weinstein would release a Blue Valentine trailer soon. Can't wait to see that one.

Glad to hear you're excited for the movie. I've got to say, you are in for a real treat being an Aaron Johnson fan. He does such a great job portraying Lennon's frustrations and maturation as an ambitious young man. I'd suggest reading up on his performance in this review. What has been your favorite Aaron Johnson role so far?

I've enjoyed Aaron in Angus Thongs, The Greatest, and Kick Ass.

Any chance a Blue Valentine trailer will get released this week and be attached to this?

Just saw it in theater a few hours ago. Good movie. Nothing outstanding, but it's a nice way to spend some time... Aaron was very good. The movie overall has some nice performances.

Mike - The Blue Valentine trailer will in fact be attached to Nowhere Boy in select theaters this weekend. Hopefully you get a chance to see the movie in theaters since I know you've been waiting patiently for the BV trailer.

If you're a John Lennon/Beatles fan or have just been on google today, you probably know it's John's birthday tomorrow -- he would have been turning 70 years old this year. Be sure to play the video at the top of the google searchbar today if you haven't already..it's pretty cool IMO. In honor of his bday, I gotta ask - what is your favorite Lennon song?
