Goldie, you may not like the new title and that is fine, but it is what was chosen by a majority of forum-goers. So therefore that is what was chosen. Like it or leave it, but lay off the subject.

Figures Rogue Commander, hey with a name like that, would come into this thread of celebration and try to bring it down.

Sorry but Goldie isn't going to let that happen. No Goldie doesn't really like the new forum name, I don't think it fits the description of a general movie discussion forum.

But the new Goldie isn't the type of guy to bring down, argue or bitch about the other people's choice. The people have voted and they want the MANIA name so I was just pointed out that we need more MANIA in this thread.

GOLDIE LOVES THE MANIA AND WANTS MORE MORE MORE - HOPE THAT IS CLEAR ENOUGH

And beside Goldie, Baba and Impact got it so hopefully you will joing the celebration, the MANIA celebration thread, or just stay out of this MANIA thread with your downer comments.

First you mock my username, then you insinuate that I am trying to hijack your thread? Will you stop at nothing? Didn't think so. And how is this a thread of celebration when you posted that you were not happy with the new name?

You sound like Smeagol/Gollum from the LoTR trilogy.

Is that all you were doing? Didn't seem like it to me.

As long as you are here Goldie, there will always be mania. That much I know.

Yes, I will stay away from you err...your threads. I'll be the bigger man in this case and ignore you, same as Dr. Lecter.

Post Mania mimics modern mammals
Youngstown, OH- It is being widely reported that American cinema hit a post-modern peak with the film, Pirates of the Carribbean.. In a blatant affront to Bluebeard and Blackbeard, the everfescent(sic) media espoused the corporate line that the concept came from an inantimate ride at Disney World.. long live reality, you bloggers......

Gardenia is our local poet. I love it. I pounce on his posts and usually spend a good hour digesting them. Still do a rarely fully comprehend them, but hey, I don't wholly understand Milton either.

I know Youngstown because I had to do a case study on city management and urban development there, but I lost it sometime afterwards.

Fabulous, I'll read it again.

edit*** Read it again. I see the papers found the foundations for Jack Sparrow in a Disney Movie Ride, instead of undertsanding the true source for his character was actually the fames literary (and real?) pirates Blackbeard and Bluebeard. Disney's ride was simply an intermediary relay, but got credit as being the original sourse. Ok, now I'm up to the bloggers part, I'll figure it out eventually. Thats why these posts are brilliant, I have to read them like Dante.

Contrary to what Rogue Commander says, Cinemania was not chosen by a majority of forum members. It was chosen by 18 out of 48 forum members, which is 37.5% of the people who voted. But still, we should just live with it whether it was our choice or not.

OK maybe we can't go [-( MANIA [-( crazy but can't we at least do what that great thespian Christian Slater said and =D> PUMP UP THE VOLUME. =D>

NO, on 2nd thought, I think we can reach the \:D/ =D> MANIA =D> \:D/ that everyone wanted who voted for this.
