Jessica Alba will soon become every comic nerd's wet dream between this and Sin City. Notice the PRODUCT PLACEMENT to the right, next to Johnny. (That's Brisk , Baby!) Just pointing that out so people don't start mentioning the budget/gross relationship of the movie, as if that's all there is to it. The first picture isn't very clear, but it's blown up a little.

If for no other reason, I'll be seeing this movie just because Chris Evans is so damn smokin.

Seriously, I'm through arguing over the merits of this yet to be unreleased MARVEL Adaptation.. I say The THING should be ALOT larger than what were seeing here and I just can't help but to think LXG type of numbers for this and the worse part is, is that I read these comics as a kid so I should feel more excited about this and I'm not..

Ioan Gruffud or however he spells his name is very miscast in this. He's a good actor in the right type of part but this isn't his thing.

yeah Alba looks hot. by the way have you guys seen her another summer movie trailer called "Into The Blue"? she looks hot too in that movie.

He is very handsome, but he is rather bland as an actor.

BUMP.. Here's an interesting article in this mornings USA TOPDAY about the prospects of whether or not this movie will sink or swim due to the nitpickiness of the fans and the internet and the fact that The Incredibles came out last summer and whether fans will buy into this movie or not since The Incredibles looks to have been better done than what were seeing with The FF4.. I have my doubts that FF4 will swim and more likely will sink due to The Incredibles hitting the screen 1st and FF4 being a 2nd rate spinoff from it, even though FF4 has been around since the 60's..

Jessica Alba looks HOT in Sin City, not this.....and this film is looking peculiar.....it's almost on the verge of laughter..

IN THE PICTURE OF THEM ON THE STREET, The Thing looks nothing like he does in the PICTURE OF THEM ON THE COVER!!!! He is smaller in the street.....he is meant to be bigger, says the comic books.

This looks nasty.....but i'll enjoy some popcorn entertainment i suppose.

Awww isnt that mini-Thing cute. Hes so tiny and scaley. I hope they market little dolls for little kids to see how cute that Thing is and small.

I can't count the amount of times I've been saying over and over and over and over about how The THING looks entirely too small and Mav will run in here and say he's the right height and he's NOT.. OK, Maybe not so much the height, but for heaven sakes, make him look much larger and broader than what were seeing here... I grew up reading this shit and no one is going to convince me of this issue otherwise.. It does look odd with them on the street.. Roger Corman anyone??

i dont have a problem with the Thing's size. I just think he looks ... odd. misshaped.

Everyone STOP trashing on the Things size for god sakes. You guys need to realize that the THING in the comics is 6'1. Read the source material, they are being true to the comic so you have ZERO right o bash them for the things size.

That said.

You have every right to bash the thing because A) looks like trash B) is made of foam C) could have been designed a million times better not to look like some chump.

They did a bad job with the look of the Thing, but part of his personality is him being small ... why you guys want to take that away I have no idea. Make fun of his look, not his size.
