 Early Cannes Reviews Of INGLORIOUS BASTERDS Suck http://www.rottentomatoes.com/vine/show ... p?t=683873Apparently, this movie appears to be more star with Pitt than anything and not receiving a very good reception at the Cannes Film Festival.. Tarrantino should've made KILL BILL VOL 3 instead..

I never liked the casting of Pitt in this and from the scenes Ive seen and some of the reviews, I think my instinct was correct.

I just haven't seen anything he's done to make me think he'd make a bad movie, so if it actually is, I will be disappointed.

How did you score that? I interned with a film studio throughout the duration of the festival and had a badge that admitted me to most screenings/red carpet affairs. I'll post my full thoughts on the film soon, I didn't have a chance to when I initially posted that. My feelings haven't changed though and, without some heavy editing on Tarantino's part, this will not succeed stateside.
