 Pixar stock rises after Incredibles win Woo hoo! My Pixar stock went up about $5 a share in the last week thanks to the Oscars...
About a year and a half ago, I quit my government job and had to take my pension and invest it or it would be taxed so heavily there would hardly be any left. So I bought stock in Pixar and Disney, despite what the advisor at the bank said. (Besides, she kept trying to get me to invest in those funds that encompass lots of stocks, but whenever I saw what those stocks were, they always included tobacco companies and arms manufacturers and stuff and I refused to support them).
Anyway, both Disney and Pixar have done really well in the past year and a half, and I need to put some more into the retirement fund so it won't get taxed again. I want to invest in something I know something about (movies) but so many studios aren't doing too well. Anyone have any advice?

there is a stock called WOKJ you can invest in it 
Actually, I am not a huge stock market buff, so I couldn't tell you where to go ... congrats on Pixar tho!

I prefer to invest in something I want to support, as opposed to something that will just make me money. Unlike many investors, I have a conscience. :wink:
