Been a fan of Arthur Conan Doyle since I was a kid, and loved his Sherlock Holmes about as much as Fleming's Bonds. I'm also a fan of RDJ (before it became the "in" thing), so this would have to flat out suck or be totally different to turn me off.

Re: Sherlock Holmes Poster I'm feeling this as a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory/Pirates of the Caribbean esk comparison, but for RDJ post Iron Man. He was a supporting actor in Tropic Thunder, but this is the big follow up. Could see it doing $200 m + at this point.

Wearing sunglasses at night, wow that's so cool, but nothin' in common with the original literary character.
Besides Downey jr. looks more like he's doing a Charlie Chaplin sequel (on the set)
