 Your DVD Collection
I don't think anything like this exists. It's only for movies, not tv show dvds or anything else. Here's how it goes: Number of DVD's in your collection: 74 Number you have seen: 67 Number you haven't seen: 7 Number you have seen mutliple times: 54 * I realize many of you probably have ridiculous collections and can never count all of them, let alone the ones you've seen more than once, if you want, just provide basic estimates. Top 10:1) No Country For Old Men-10/10 2) There Will Be Blood-10/10 3) A Few Good Men-10/10 4) Shawshank Redemption-10/10 5) Wall-e-10/10 6) Mystic River-10/10 7) Milk-9.5/10 8) Kill Bill 2-9.5/10 9) Brokeback Mountain-9.5/10 10) Saving Private Ryan-9.5/10 Honorable Mention: Traffic-9.5/10, Pan's Labyrinth- 9.5/10, Hero- 9.5/10 Top 5 You can't Believe you payed for: 1) Jackass: The Movie-3/10 2) Les Miserables- 4/10 3) Good Luck Chuck- 4.5/10 4) MI3- 4.5/10 5) X-Men- 5.5/10 Alright, that's basically what I was thinking, who's up for it?

I used to have close to 200 DVDs, I now have about 30 Blu-Ray and 20 DVDs and don't purchase more than maybe 5 a year now. I move through Netflix too fast to revisit too many films. At my height I can do 30+ Netflix in a month.

There is a fine difference between making fun of, and being plain cruel to. I make it incredibly easy to make fun of me, (both on this site and in real life) but being flat out mean is a different story.

You guys can play the hardass on here all you want but when someone says: "You're annoying, you're childish, you're naive, you're stupid, you're bland, you're clueless, you're ignorant, and you're totally fake about all of this. You're way too obvious and over-the-top in your obliviousness, which makes me think that you're someone pretending to be an all-too-idiotic noob poster." it doesn't make me feel great.

I don't know Marin, how hard is it to see there's a DVD forum. It's at a least a little suspicious unless there's something about you we don't know.

I'd just recommend making sure you take a look around and consolidate your posts into one or two topics, otherwise you run the risk of pissing people off. This is considered basic forum ettiquette, and honestly on some forums they would ban people that hadn't have done their "homework" so to speak. Just a tip, I find you overall pleasant and an enjoyable person to debate with.

Someone else just did that last week with the trailer forum, but I see your point. I don't know, all I can say is I'm not "fake" I just have some really blonde moments.

 Re: Your DVD Collection
I think Tony and Loyal are the only one's who have me beat.
Number of DVD's in your collection: 1861 - (Without TV DVD's my guess is it's around 1800) Got my first DVD in Christmas of '98. I remember I got Bean, Animal House and a couple of others.
Number of repeats - 400 est. - Blu-ray/Bond/Better editions of films previously released. The number could be a little bit higher. More coming thanks to Blu-ray. Superman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, James Bond, Back to the Future, The Matrix, and it just goes on and on.
Number you have seen - 1500 est.
Number you haven't seen: 360 est. - I bought a lot of classics based on their reputation but I haven't got around to some of them.
Number you have seen mutliple times: 750 est.
Oldest DVD I have that I've never watched - The Last Castle (2001)
Most recent purchase: The History of the Boston Bruins
Top Ten - (They're all 10/10 so no need to rate each of them) 1) Superman: The Movie - Blu-ray/HD-DVD/SE:DVD/DVD 2) Back to the Future - DVD 3) The Truman Show - Blu-ray/SE:DVD/DVD 4) Close Encounters of the Third Kind - Blu-ray/SE:DVD 5) Beverly Hills Cop - DVD 6) Groundhog Day - SE:DVD/DVD 7) Raiders of the Lost Ark - DVD 8) Star Wars - DVD ('04) 9) The Natural - SE:DVD (DC)/DVD 10) L.A. Story - SE:DVD/DVD
Bottom Five 1) Glitter: 0/10 - I had to buy it though. Everyone should own their least favorite movie. 2) The Real Cancun: 0/10 - Makes me want to punch my 13 year old self in the face. 3) Jaws IV: The Revenge: 1/10 - Could've been decent if the film had made just a little bit of sense. 4) Ghost Ship: 1/10 - I don't remember much. 5) Freddy Got Fingered: 1/10 - See The Real Cancun.
