I mean, The THING Looks like Rubber and when he speaks, he sounds, well odd... Christ, couldn't they of jacked the budget up more for an all CGI THING instead of the foam rubber THING Suit Chiklis is wearing??? I'm sorry, but I see this pulling a CATWOMAN on us this summer..

The Thing and Dr Doom look like they are made with plastic and not granite or steel. They really need to work on the texture for the costuming and CGI. The trailer wasnt bad but it just doesnt catch my eye

something about it just doesn't feel right. Human Torch looks cool though.

I think it looks excellent! Definitely in my top 10 most anticipated of the year. Miles and miles better than AVP if you ask me. And this is just the trailer.

Honestly, I think this looks like a bunch of low budget bullshit and poorly made and YES, The texture and everything is way the fuck off.. It does feel like plastic and the THING does look like he has foam rubber padding and YES, They should've spent like 200 Million on this movie instead of 110 Million to make this look right.. I've said this a 1000 times in the past that if they were to do this movie, they would have to do it right and pony up some cash$$$ in doing so with top notch CGI, which is what The THING should be, all the way... I thought his voice in the dialogue was odd and I just think this movie is NOT the Superhero movie of the year by a long shot and looks no better than Roger Corman's version.. This movie should've went straight to DVD Based on what I've seen...

Jessica Alba is very visually interesting to me.

Hmm..., interesting, this coming from someone who was perfectly happy with the man in suit Kong from the seventies and questioning the need to redo it for todays audience with all CGI... Double standards? I think so.

This trailer (like the other one) has some cool moments, but it still manages to give off a pretty rank stink. Some of the effects look okay, but how did they mess up The Thing so badly? Moreover, what was with that awful joke halfway through? Music swells, action bursts - cut to: Mr Fantastic and Sue Storm having dinner. Sue Storm: "Look at me!" Mr Fantastic: "I can't!!". Because she's invisible, get it?!! Boom boom!! - back to music swelling and action bursting... Oy vey...

Looks good so far. But Dr. Doom still semms to be the older Brother of Green Goblin. I agree with BKB. The Thing and Dr. Dooms Mask looks like plastic. The Thing skin has to be more "organic" and the Doom Mask should look more like metal.

Btw. Tothe Trailer making folks. I like "epic" music and I know that such music does awake" emotions in the people which look at the Trailer and PERHAPS made them wanting to watch the movie.. But if nearly every "big movie" Trailer has such
music it becomes a mediocre marketing thing. Think about that...........

You've seen 1 person in a Gorilla suit, you've seen them all Nazgul, but of course, that will fall upon your deaf ears won't it kid?? As for the foam rubber padding made to look like rocks VS A 100% ALL CGI THING???? Apples and oranges when the moviegoer can clearly tell how fake he looks in the way he moves and all with the foam padding instead of shelling out more $$$ for top notch CGI top have it done properly you goof..
