 The Laramie Project
I was browsing around RottenTomatoes earlier and came across this...I think its getting released in theaters even though it was made two years ago.
The trailer was very effective, and I am anticipating seeing it. Has anyone else heard anything about this movie? It's revolves around the killing of Matthew Shepard, who was killed...well...for being a homosexual
I think the documentery style may work very well for t his film

I've seen it, it's an HBO film with Christina Ricci and a few other people. It was very good.

I was confused by the trailer...is it a real doc? at all? Are there real interviews?

No, it is not a documentary, it's more of a docu-drama combining real interviews with acted material. Think Touching the Void, but with even less documentary material (forgive me if I am a bit vague, I saw it two years ago)

I loved it, but I'm sure I'd like it more if I watched it now because I watched it when I was younger. I love Christina Ricci and Laura Linney, so it's a huge plus they were in it. It would be awesome if this got a theatrical release, but I doubt it would be wide enough for me to see it, at least I can get it on DVD anytime I want.
8/10 (B+)
