It would be perfect and patriotic to do so and I think moviegoers would appreciate this alot more..

It's too bad Transformers is this year or July 1 would have been an epically good release date for this. If they had known the date Bin Laden would be killed, that would have been maybe the best date imaginable.

Captain America: The First Avenger has screened! People have seen it! It’s long lead press and a few select others (not me, though. Marvel got no love for BAD), and the word has trickled down: the film is great.
I have no further information beyond that, but I’ve heard it now from a couple of sources. Could 2011 be the year where only the period superhero movies were worth a damn? That would be kind of cool.
