The trailer is okay, but a little confusing. It doesn't really explain any plot whatsoever. Anyways, I'll see it on DVD since it's NC-17.

The plot is easy, there is no need for a trailer to explain a plot.
Im going to the cinema to see this baby.

Now THAT looks like a horror movie
As opposed to the jump-scare ones

This probably is a true horror film. But, I like the jump-scare horror movies, they are fun!!

I hate it when a movie comes along that I know nothing about. Who's in it? What's it about?

Its a foreign film that was shown in festivals around the states. If you like SAW, I heard you will like this one too. You should really watch the trailer for the movie and the Sonic Youth song just makes it creepier. Another movie I want to see is Rob Zombie's Devil's Rejects

High Tension actually looks good when compared to The Devil's Rejects. I didn't even realize High Tension was NC-17. My anticipation jumped up when I heard. Finally, a real bloody, hardcore horror movie. =D>

Yeah, whereas Cold Creek Manor's reviews (under the name The Devil's Throat) were all hideous as I warned people of, High Tension has only had terrific ones.

Last night I downloaded this because I won't be able to see it in theaters, and I'm tired of waiting. I start watching it, and there isn't any subtitles. So I'm going to try to get another copy of it.

Or you guys could buy region free DVD players and get working subs and great picture/sound.
But, yeah, it's been online for a long time now, Zing. Because you're not 17, it's the only way you'll be able to see it - so i'd say go for it.

I have a region free DVD player, but I don't know how to burn downloaded movies.

My friend had to download a bunch of stuff onto my computer, I'm not sure the sites you need to go on, I can get them for you if you'd like.

That'd be great! See, I can burn them right now, but it's not watchable. It comes as a file, while I want to put it on as a video. If you can help, that'd be awesome! Thanks.

If you have a region free DVD player, you could just buy the DVD:

I downloaded the film last year, but unfortunately for me the copy did not come with subtitles and I do not understand French, so I am out of luck. My friends who have seen it, more than 10 of them, all horror lovers, say that the end almost ruins the entire film.

That depends on how you look at it. I think that, taken in context with the rest of the film, the ending is perfect and really the only way it could have ended. I know a lot of people that hate the ending, but I think they're hating it because it flew in the face of their expectations. Horror films (especially slasher films) are supposed to have generic, straight to the point endings, and when one tries to do something different it gets blasted for being "crazy" and "not making any sense". I really wish I could elaborate more on why I love the ending, but then it'd turn into spoiler city.

I'm assuming you've ridden in on your high horse and are referring to downloading movies.
So long as they see the movie when it comes to theaters, it's no big deal. I know I will.

I downloaded Saw one month before release, and I still saw it in theaters. I downloaded Mindhunters, and I plan to see it in theaters again. It's really not a big deal if you see it in advance.
