This kind of fits into the Star Wars prequel why does everything look different frame of mind.

I don't mind the change. Vehicles get smaller with time so it makes sense the prototype batmobile would be larger since it's a military SUV type of beast.

It makes sense within the context of the movie.

Your claims on a drastic change are ... stupid ... mainly because this car has no connection with the old. This is a TOTALLY new rendition of the movie.

a) This is not a prequel. hence its not meant to have any kind of contuinity.

b) People must realize something very important. Burton's batmobile rocked!! but that was IN NO WAY the batmobile. The batmobile may have a cool look but it was always something gothic, mysterious and meant to put fear into the minds of people.

If people want to know what the real batmobiles from the comics and animation look like over the last 70 years, take a look at this:

Dont forget the tumbler uses more gasoline and is as hazardous to the environment as a SUV. That will tick off alot of hippies

I also heard that the tumbler uses it engine propellers near the side of its wheel to catch unsuspecting small animals and chops them up using them as fuel too. Is that true Baba?

yes .. there are regulations enforcing all cars to have certain amount of mileage else they're deemed environmentally unfriendly for driving. Batman got into a big fight with them and this is the compromise reached. Else he would have been taken to court and the tumbler siezed by the govt on owner's expense.

My problem with all the Batmobiles in general is that it doesnt seat more than one person. One seat is reserved for Batman and the second for Robin but where do they round up all the villians and ship them to commissioner Gordon.

That would only mean that Robin would have to get out of the vehicle while Batman cuffs each hoodlum with him in the Batmobile and drive them to Comissioner Gordon. Thats way too many round trips. I think he needs to get a Bat Van

Buttman actually never hauls his criminals ever ... only a few have ever been inside the batmobile ... he ties them up in strategic locations from where they can never get out ...

sometimes he hand delivers them .. but i've noticed that usually when he works alone ...... rest of the time, he gives Robin some cash to catch a cab and soemtimes, he carries them all on his back and ties them outside gordon's office ..

now that i think about it ... hmm .... na na na na na na na na na !! BatHound

ahmed.

that thing is completely tested. no cgi on that car at all. it WILL jump 40 feet horizontal, 10 foot vertical, has a top speed of 200 mph, takes turns at high speeds (we even have the video of that), and 0 to 60mph in less than 5 seconds.
