Don't worry guys, MikeQ's post got me lazy forgetful self into gear and we're going to jump into the awrds here asap because we go want to have them in before the Oscars.

I think there are seven people or so...I'm not going to do much with this because I'm still recovering form the poster awards, but someone will be sending you a pm very soon to ask you and the other folks what they would like to do, categories, timing, how you guys want to work it out over here. Mr.X your missing out - for my short time banned it was a great experience - like the sweet nectar of nirvana.

It's not like I post there (obviously). But, I have to go back sometimes to check old posts of mine for reference purposes (Best of 2003 list, my TV awards list)... and, I like seeing what some people say from time to time.

Me = not been back.
BOM was poison, i think it actually made me more negative as a person - which is plain creepy.

Judging by the new breed of posters, the forum isn't getting a whole lot better. Eventually, it will probably grow again, but for that to happen, they need new posts. Without the frequent posts, people won't feel the desire to post because they know a response to their post will take a while. Ever visit a forum with very little recent posts? It doesn't make you want to post at all. BOM is in that state right now. It's a slow process, but they'll eventually grow (unless the forum is shut down, which is VERY unlikely).

I still cannot believe that Box Office Mojo uses a PHPBB thats stylised as a Vbulletin OLD style template....its not exactly the "professional buisness" option - and it takes one reasonably smart coding kiddy to basically nuke those forums.
