With 2008 just around the corner and 27 Dresses (a 2008 film) having sneak previews tomorrow. I thought I would start the thread.

Yeah 27 Dresses is having a sneak preview tomorrow probably to tie in with the date of December 27. I might check it out as Katherine Heigl is turning out to be one of my favorite actresses, probably won't though.

 Re: 2008 Films in Review
I haven't seen anything yet, but I'm going to set up my scale. Like some other people have, I think I"m going to test out the star rating system. I've tried it before and it didn't work that well, but since then I've used things like Flixster and I've gotten use to it.

I saw it at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2007, along with Charlie Bartlett, but since both are getting their official releases this year ( Suburban Girl STV and Charlie Bartlett theatrically in February), I'm including them on my '08 list.

Did you really think Mad Money would be any good? Every piece of shit? What films have I seen recently would fit in that category? And the only reason why I went to see Mad Money was so I could review it for the site. My first choice would've been Cloverfield, but I figured since there were screenings last night, someone else was going to review it. I was right. My only other option would've been 27 Dresses, and even though it would've been free, you couldn't drag me to see that movie. I saw it and now I can completely forget about it. That is until I write up my Worst of 2008 list.

This is one of the few times I've actually bothered to see movies in January that were actually released in that month. So far I'm 2 for 2 (I guess...not sure which is more fitting for ITNOTK).
