Arnold Says "NO" To Terminator 44, er I mean 4...
http://www.moviehole.net/news/4898.html
Personally, while I thought T3 was pretty enjoyable, (even if HBO Beats the shit out this movie by showing it on the hour by the hour) I can't stomach another movie in this franchise and apparently, Arnold agrees with his buddy BKB about it according to the link above.. I mean, WHY do we need another Terminator movie?? Why??? Can we not be content with 3 movies??? Must franchise movies nowadays stretch into Quadruples instead of Trilogies??? ](*,)

AVP was a stand alone film Bill that call it shit as much as you like, but it did make 80 Million dollars domestically and opened at 40 Million for the weekend indicating that there is a fanbase for this, whereas another Terminator movie would be stretching it in terms of how many times can they keep bringing back the same Cyborg in the form of Arnold after he's been killed 3 other times over??? Speaking of the Awesome AVP, this beast comes out Tuesday and will RULE your DVD Collection and DON'T FUCKING DENY IT BILL!!!! =D>

I think it would be cool when the Terminatorsaga would end with the "open ending" of part three.

So, AvP makes $80 million = fanbase.
Terminator 3 makes $150 million = stretching.
There definitely seems to be some more story to tell in the Terminator universe, so I don't see the harm in making another sequel. I think T3 did an admirable job of wiping up T2's mess whilst also setting up future sequels that would work equally well with or without Arnie.

The governor said he had been approached about making a brief appearance in "Terminator 4,'' but has told producers "they will never see me for one second in the movie" unless the film is made in California. It's planned to be shot in Budapest.

Indeed. Just imagine, a movie depicting the war against the machines in the future, just like in the short glimpses we were getting in the previous movies. That would be f***ing awesome!!!

I thought the third was good, but no need to beat the dead horse. Leave it with a good movie, not a bad one.

I've said . since the moment I walked out of T3, the next Terminator movie should be about the war. Judgement Day has occured. We should see some man against machine action. It could definitely include a lot of insanely awesome plot elements that we weren't able to see in the first 3.
SPOILER FROM T3
I mean, Ahnuld admits in T3 that he himself kills John. Plus the love story.
END SPOILER
The possibilities are endless, and I cannot wait for an installment to the franchise if it goes down that road.
If they DO, however, end up with another modern-day set movie, in which a Terminator has been sent back for whatever reason, I'll be angry.

YES, T3 was stretching it because we already had 2 Superior movies before it and T3 was only made to boost Schwartzeneggers Political career and that's the ONLY reason.. With AVP, it was the 1st start to a brand new franchise and a success, while another Terminator movie would be extreme overkill and you know it would.. ](*,) Plus, are you implying in your quote above that T3 was better than T2 was??? =; Wiping up T2's mess as you put it??? What mess??? :???:

To call AVP a success, THAT is stretching it.

I really enjoyed Terminator 3 - but only because Kristanna Loken was such a great Femme Terminateur. The film itself had problems ; notably nick stahl and the script which got hammy sometimes. It all felt a bit bloated. But Kristanna sure knew how to look all evil and shit. Give her a spinoff

Well to call AVP a failure is also stretching it considering how much it made and how much it will make even moreso on DVD Tuesday.. Paul"The Man" Anderson RULES and so does this DVD which I have already preordered for the AVP Collector's Edition Set....

Your arguments on Alien vs. Predator are like my morning breakfast of orange juice, medicine, and oatmeal. It's always the same.
While we're at it, Terminator 3 made more worldwide than your personal favorites (The Hulk and Alien vs. Predator) combined.

Yeah it's always the same cause it's always TRUE that's why.. =D> And just cause Terminator 3 made more worldwide than those 2 movies you've listed doesn't mean they have to beat the story to death.. I think 3 movies in a franchise is quite enough and unless you can think of a story that audiences will buy bringing Schwartzeneger back after he died 3 times already, then I say let it lie.. At least with AVP, it was successful enough to have an AVP II and maybe AVP III which would RULE..

AVP was a disgrace to both franchises...you cannot honestly say this was a continue of the story...this was a rip off of FvJ, and fabricated hollywood shit.

Ahhh, but once again, BKB has to school you in that ALIEN VS PREDATOR has been around since 1990 from the spawning of a very successful comic then after PREDATOR II and NOW IN the present, long before thwy even thought of making FREDDY VS JASON, and AVP is still very popular today.. It was not in anyway a disgrace or in the ballpark definition of a disgrace and Paul"TheMan"Anderson proved he could make an action packed entertaining movie with a sense of dread and clautstrophobia like Cameron and Ridley Scott did with their films.. Sorry if you and the other ADD ridden fanboys expected an Epic out of a movie with the word "VS" in the title, but that's clearly your problem.. :-$
