Chris Carter looks like a giddy schoolgirl. Truth be told, so do I right now. But that may have more to do with the fact that I'm wearing my schoolgirl outfit at the moment.

:excited:

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.

I really hope this falls more in line with the "Monster of the week" episodes than the narrative driven ones, which I always found kind of boring.

Fox is really really pissed right now. They wanted to keep the werewolves under wrap until the movie comes out but too bad. It happens with all their films for some reason.

Fuckin' eh!

Spoiler: show
They really did only one werewolf episode, and that was way back in the first season, and it wasn't that great. Hopefully this will be just as great as some of the best episodes, almost all of which were monster-of-the-week. At the very least it's a nice respite from all the vampire flicks we're getting.

The stuff between Loyal and Ladiesman (the poster, not THE Ladie's Man... cause that may also be Loyal) made me laugh.

I think it's really the best possible scenario for XF2 to be standalone, MOTW. It pleases everyone. Now, the movie could suck on its own. But at least it won't suck while we're trying to figure out what the fuck those wily aliens are up to.

Im not against the idea of a MOTW film but I at least want some the revelations from the season finale of X-files resolved. Remember during the season finale, they entered in some sort of cavern that mentions some revelation happening during 2008? or was it 2010

The series finale...

Alien invasion on December 12, 2012

Maybe that'll be the plotline for a potential third movie, should the second take off. I wouldn't oppose it. I'm just happy that the sequel is MOTW. ... or, monster-of-the-last-six-years, as it were.

I think it's December 22nd, since it's simliar to the Mayan prediction of an apoclaypse.

Yes, you are correct.

I think that a third movie would revolve around the alien invasion in 2012.

Is there going to be a trailer for the Superbowl since I heard something about Fox buying one of the slot to attach one of their movies? They didnt disclose what but I doubt its Dragonball since they just hired the FX team few days ago and there is no way they can put up some FX touches in a weeks time

I don't think so.

There are 3 movies that i think they could show a trailer for at superbowl

1. JUMPER
2. HORTON HEARS A WHO
3. STARSHIP DAVE

It is definitely not going to be The Happening, x-files 2 and dragonball.

on a side note i came to know that they got some big vfx dude who worked on movies like spider-man 2 and pirate of the caribbean movies for dragonball.
