But Return of the King and Fellowship of the Ring are 2 of the greatest movies of all time, with Two Towers not far behind.

Spider man and Pirates and such are just regular films.
Lotr was on a whole different level.
Thats why they are loved. Its the only recent blockbuster film that has seen acclaim from the critics, the academy and from the people.

If you don't like the movie taste of the users on this site, go to another site. This isn't the be-all, end-all of movie websites. It's a forum based around box office, for god's sakes. A commercial list is to be expected.
