 Just Saw Hot Rod
Paramount had a special at my theater, so I saw it for free. Thank God. It's not the worst film ever made, but its one of the cases that theres maybe two good jokes that werent used in the trailer.
Id say its probably the worst SNL movie ever made passing Superstar and Ladies Man. Andy Sandberg is good for short skits, which this would have probably done better.

I mean there are obviously worst movies and comedies out there (Theres one good joke involving an Asian and another involving spoofing Footloose) But every stunt is in the trailer basically and at 85 minutes it struggles.

 Re: Just Saw Hot Rod
From the trailers I thought it would be a mini Napoleon Dynamite, obviously not as funny, and its that type of movie. Its just the humor is not crisp, and almost looks like its trying to be another Napoleon Dynomite.

 Re: Just Saw Hot Rod
From the trailers, I gathered that this would either be an oddly funny movie or a complete disaster. It seems like the actual project is the latter.

This isn't based on an SNL skit, is it? From your post, that's what it sounds like, but I don't think it is..

You people have no sense of humor -- at least not one recognizable without a microscope -- excepting you Baba, if you really did give this film an A- -- I'm off to read your review now...

I've gotta look up some other Thegun comedy reviews -- his panning of this brilliantly hilarious movie is sadly disturbing... Okay... here's a warning sign... Yow! -- that's not good -- what else we got... Its solid, but unspectacular, I find that always needs to be an awesome Voice acting to give an animated film an extra edge, not so much here..... OMG -- it looks fatal. RIP Thegun's sense of humor...

RIP Thegun's sense of humor... Ratatouille wasn't without humor, it just didnt focus on it, like most pixar films. My favorite comedies of the year were Knocked Up, Hot Fuzz, the Simpsons Movie and I found Blades of Glory and Wild Hogs funnier than this drivel. I'm sorry I didnt "get" this film or Epic movie this year. I'm a fan of most comedies, and are usually very forgiving. This film didnt have it. No jokes are brilliant (there are two great moments and a few chuckles throughout) in fact many are reused from other films slightly tweaked. I stand by my review. And Airplane is my favorite comedy of all time if you were wondering.
