Here's The New Rob Zombie HALLOWEEN Poster = It Sucks
http://www.aintitcool.com/node/32931
Looks like The DEVILS REJECTS Poster in a way and because of that, I think this blows and so will this movie.. John Carpneter doesn't have anything to be worried about(even though he's dead) about Zombie's version surpassing his 1979 Classic..

The poster wouldn't be that horrible if it didn't have Myers without the fucking mask on.

Take out the photo montage and the mask in his hand. Doesn't it look like Rob Zombie is directing a biopic about himself?

Yeah, it's terrible.
I still have (now largely unfounded) faith in this movie.

The first movie came out in 1978.
John Carpenter is not dead -- unless you're talking about his films in the last decade or two. We can agree on that.
I don't like the poster either. It beats the "floating head" posters from the last couple films, but Myers should never be unmasked on a key poster. I agree: it does look more like a Devils Rejects/Texas Chainsaw Massacre poster than it does a Halloween one.
I just can't get used to the new "rock and roll" hairstyle Myers has going for himself. I hope the producers don't have him running around maskless for sections of the film. I find it very odd the poster creators would choose a maskless Myers for the main poster.
All that aside, I will be fair to this film. I'm going to try to just view it as its own movie and pretend nothing came before it. I believe this film is going to heavily seperate the fanbase. I think teenagers who find the first film boring will like it more, and a faction of older fans will hate it no matter how good or bad it really is.

Not a very good poster. My anticipation for this is quickly dwindling.

Horrid poster, especially with Myers maskless (and why in the hell does he look like Rob Zombie?!?). I'm hoping the film will be good, but things like this definitely have reduced my anticipation of it.

You think everything looks badass and furthermore, the only reason your even implying it's badass is because I say it sucks a donkey's ass and it does and you know it does so stop with the charade..

No, I think Fantastic 4 looks like shit. I think Die Hard looks decent. I think Harry Potter looks like crap.
And yes, on this one I am just disagreeing with you. Because you damn fanboys have such high standards, just enjoy the movie

Agree about the poster, but I'm disturbed that you think Carpenter is dead (unless I missed the headlines). I feel like by putting out this poster with an unmasked Myers, Zombie is not so subtly giving the finger to Halloween fans (like myself) who have criticized his movie from the word go. Especially after finding out that Michael would take off the mask and (sigh) speak.....

To be fair to Zombie, he didn't design the poster himself.

The poster doesn't suck. The usual internet hyperbole... (like "that description of the Wall-E teaser is amazing!")

The poster is not terrible, but SO generic. They could have made something more "iconic".

Since when is Carpenter dead? Career wise perhaps, but he's still alive.

It's much better. I just find the Halloween one, as Lecter said, incredibly generic. It could be any teen slasher flick.

I like the idea of the mask made up of images... I just wish they weren't so damn goofy. Why are we using hippie Loomis pictures, and what the fuck are Danny Trejo and Adrienne Barbeau doing in there?
It'd also look much better if Michael was wearing the mask.
