Amen with The Passion. One of the most over-rated movies of the year, if not of all time.

Yeah, maybe we should just stick with lists instead. It'd be easier, and better for the dial up people.

I dont mind posters at all but some of those posters come out huge. Maybe if you can find some smaller ones to post, it would be fine.
Nice interesting choices by the way especially the animation flicks

I'd say just do lists. Some of the posters aren't even coming out. A few are red x's and some have like banners instead of posters.

9.Vertigo
Trying to humiliate the MOD thread by adding snazzy poster pics of all your selection? well fine....its working. :x
j/k
I have to say I'm not all that familiar with the "epics" so haven't seen that many of your top ten. My favortie that you have listed is Vertigo. Its probably my second favorite film behind Rear Window, and one of his most intelligent and demanding movies. Very good pick.
LOTR, I loved Fellowship, went downhill from there.
everyone has already heard my critique of Schindler's list so I won't bore everyone with it again, but it was a superior movie to, say, Pianist, ect.
Thanks all you members who are going to contribute to this thread. I'm glad you all thought the idea was so great. lets learn a bit about ourselves through movies, shall we?

La Dolce Vita
Oh sweet mother of god...you just vaulted into my top 10 fave posters list. Bad News Bears was so cute, and Hoop Dreams id one of the best Docs ever. If I forgot to put it on mine, I missed big time, because it should definately be there. El_masked_esteROIDe_user wrote: Heres mine I only included movies up to 2003

121, 129...both good picks. Though I think Big Fish was genuinely one of the first male-oriented relationship movies. I didn't quite get it the way alot of guys in the theatre opening night were. I liked it, but didn't love it.
Fast Times is Fast times. I wonder why the Penn character got so much attention in that movie compared to the more central characters. It came across as a comdey when it was in fact very serious as far as teen films go.
Never Ending Story is still one of the only good fantasy movies out to this day.
No Simple Plan. Take it off now. :x
Ghost Dog was very interesting, but I would consider it one of Jarmusch's weaker movies. Got any other ones from him on you list?
You picked Deliverance as a fave? I'm going to put it out there, but I don't think it was that good. I thought the first half was, and those two guys go down in history as the most disturbing villains ever, but the second half of the movie just didn't do it for me so much. I dunno.
