 Is Condemned Battle Royale? After watching the trailer, I thought this could actually be a BR remake for US audiences.
Thoughts?

Its similar in the basic plot but thats about it. I doubt it'll have BR's biting satirical edge.

I doubt there will be much resemblance. Battle Royale is, above all else, social satire about Japanese culture; its message would be impossible to port over to our own culture.
