 No Ocean's 14?
Quote: No Ocean's 14? Source: Clooney Studio August 21, 2006
Clooney Studio received several reports from the Edinburgh International Film Festival where Ocean's 13 director Steven Soderbergh mentioned that this was the last installment in the franchise. Here are a few quotes:
Ocean's 13 will be the last one. Especially George wanted "to go out strong", and Ocean's 12 was too complicated. Ocean's 13 is a comedy, and this time Al Pacino is a great bad guy in fact "this guy's a monster!" said Steven Soderbergh yesterday to a maybe 1000-1200 people strong crowd in his interview with Shane Danielsen, The Director of Edinburgh International Film Festival.
David Holmes is back to compose the original music - "He's so good - so gifted" Steven Soderbergh.

I feel that I was the only one who dug Ocean's 12. It was very, stylish.

Thank God. It's not a bad series, but not a great one either and with the third installment the gimmick of the huge cast is getting old.

Yeah, honestly I'm not even caring for 13 at this point. My biggest problem with 12, other than it being nothing more than a vacation for these actors, was that the plot didn't make much sense. Thegun sort of explained it to me once, but I still don't get why they had to follow through with the entire events of the movie if the they had the egg the whole time.

Thank God. Ocean's 12 wasn't a movie, it was a deal. It lacked most of the humor and style of the first one.

Seems like the logical choice.

Sounds like O12 is a mess. Well hopefully they return to the style of the original for 13 and leave it at that.

no no no. If there's one scene that oozes the coolness, that is Ocean's 12, it's the flashback between Pitt's and Zeta-Jones' characters.
Perfection.

Really. Well I should really rent this one out soon. Will probably post back in this thread once I do!

It was simply Ok.. To me, it was nothing more than an adlibbed movie with no script and a bunch of major stars getting together and walking through there lines in the movie and a chance to showcase the scenery.. The Julia Roberts playing Julia Roberts and Bruce Willis schtick was forced humor and sucked.. Again, it was an average movie, but really, they should've left well enough alone with the 1st movie..

I loved Ocean's Eleven, but I was a little disappointed with Twelve. Thirteen actually does sound good with Al Pacino in the mix, but I'm happy it'll be the last one.

I guess it's too much to ask that Jennifer Lopez and Angelina Jolie show up in the film.

Right on the money.
