Here's some new pics from the set of SPIDERMAN III showing Topher Grace as Eddie Brock and Toby Mcguire in the Black Spidey Suit with Symbiote and all, plus darker hair that sort of reminds me of Edward Furlong or something.. Hmmm.. I have no doubt that Topher Grace will be Awesome in this movie..

Working out didnt seem to size Topher that much. He looks nothing like Eddie Brock unless they are rewriting Eddie Brock to be a nerd instead. The only problem is that by not finding the right guy of the size is that Venom always looked alot bigger than Peter Parker did in the symbiate alien form because Brock was like a good 50 lbs heavier than PP

Topher was the wrong choice for Brock. The guy is supposed to be noticeably bigger than Peter, not the same size. How did they screw that up. Also, Maguire does indeed look like a rock band reject.

Those arent promising pics. Tobey looks like The boy Ozbourne, seriously he looks wierd. Topher doesnt look the part, but he is a good actor so we shall see.

Tobey looks worse than Topher to me, actually. Wayyyy too emo.

Topher is too skinny, but the hair looks fine and the working out did a bit of imporvement.

They should've just casted Brock Lesner regardless though. It's not like it's meant to be a deeply acted role, he's supposed to be a goon.

At least Gwen looks good, from a distance.

Whatever, I'm still excited as hell for the movie. Most anticipated ever.

P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E.. Let's not start another "X3 Pre-ass ripping before seeing a trailer or teaser" type of shi* with SM3.. This movie is in very very good hands and in no way will this movie even go by way of BATMAN and ROBIN.. Shame on you.. Have faith.. I think Grace looks damn good and well casted.. He sort of looks like he'd be Mcguire's brother or something since both actors do somewhat resemble one another.. Maybe that's what Raimi was shooting more for.. Sort of the flipside of one another..

That may be what comicbook nerds don't want, but for the average moviegoer, it works.. Really there's a concept that ALL comicbook nerds need to start accepting and that's no comicbook movie adaptation of the comic will ever be 100% spot on, so the sooner folks accept this, the better off you'll be..

Surprise surprise even though BKB said will be seeing a bulked up Topher and yet it didnt happen he's still kissing all kinds of ass. I love ya dude, dont ever be unpredictable.

I don't think I'm the only one surprised by that.. I really thought Grace would be a little bigger the way the press made it out to be about him hitting the Gym hard for this role.. Hell, maybe Raim said fuc* it.. You don't have to bulk up cause we have CGI to do all this work..

Probably cause the symbiote ( venom gene shit ) is making him that way.

Either way I dont really care anymore, as long as we get to see a kick ass Venom. They cant screw that up.

I still think that shot of Church earlier, looked exactly like Brock in my opinion. Who knows, we have good actors for villians, but Topher acting like a dickhead badass is kind of a stretch though. But sometimes it works, afterall, people went apeshit with penguin's transformation, but its all in the vision of the director. At least Raimi is finally growing some balls, with the Spiderman franchise.

Meh, I'll give Raimi the benefit of the doubt until I see how it all works out.
