Post The 1st Review Of SUPERMAN RETURNS=Put A Fork In It
http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=23229

Basically, this guy says he saw SUPERMAN RETURNS and didn't post a review of it, but now, he felt compelled to do so because he was angry at the bad press this movie has been receiving, so he says he's quick to dispell this and after reading his review, I'd say this is a prime example of "DAMAGE CONTROL" in trying to salvage what's left of this movie before it even opens nearly 40 days from now.. At this time, I'm pretty much saying "Put a Fork" in this movie and don't expect BATMAN BEGINS type of numbers, if it's lucky.. I just don't think the fanbase is REALLY there for SUPERMAN like it is for BATMAN and that's what's gonna kill this movie is lack of interest..

The first REAL early review of SUPERMAN RETURNS! (SPOILERS)

Moriarty's script review was for a very early draft, so it doesn't apply that much to the finished movie.

Apparently the movie is very good, according to that reviewer (with the exception of the very beginning and end i didn't read it myself because i don't want to be spoiled), plus some other guy is mentioned who saw it too and it blew him away, reportedly.

If you've watched all 4 films, they go from serious to silly. I guess thats why everyone wanted to forget 3 and 4. After reading that review it seems like a modern reincarnation of the original Superman. In some ways almost a copy....

I actually know the guy he's talking about at Dark Horse Entertainment. I met him while in Austin.

He's a "PLANT" with roots growing out of his review and was used as nothing more than to put a little more of a Positive spin on a movie that's headed for a BIG FALL.. Again, this is DAMAGE CONTROL 40 Days before the movie opens, courtesy of WB..

He's not a plant, he in no way works for WB. I met the guy, seemed nice enough.

Loyal met the guy BKB! Surely that should confirm to all of us that AICN is very much a noble and true bastion of morality and film-reporting integrity that could clearly not be tainted by the sweet scent of studio perks as has been suggested time and again.

Thanks for putting my mind at rest Loyal.

Wow I can be such a bitch!

What tipped me off to this being nothing more than a "WORK" of a review designed to off set any early negativity toward this movie was the reviewer saying he saw the movie, but only decided to post his review after the negativity Moriarity had toward an early script and this just seemed so coincidental and sudden that this review came up to counteract the negativity.. Let me ask ya: From what you've seen of SUPERMAN RETURNS thus far, are you confident in this movie that you think it will do really well, at least as well as BATMAN BEGINS did so to speak for a franchise on the edge of death??

yeah, causea studio would totally give away THAT many spoilers....way to think things through.

MAYBE someone just saw it and...ahem...liked it? ever think of that bkb? seriously your a scumbag; any time anyone says anything positive about the film you find a way to say its bad...if rpoger ebert gave it four stars youd say wb paid him off.

I haven't been impressed yet. But Bryan and his team worked wonders with the XMen franchise, so I have reason to expect the same here.

There's no motivation for that review to be a plant. And without motivation, you've got nothing.

Based on some of Ebert's reviews in the past, I would be inclined to say there's probably truth in that statement.. And WB doesn't give a shi* what spoilers are given away cause it's not like it doesn't happen every day in the wonderful world we know as THE INTERNET stooge.. :bang: As far as me being a scumbag?? I'm the BEST Scumbag you'll ever interact with so enjoy it...

hmmm, for whatever reason, Harry edited the story and removed Dark Horse Entertainment from it.
