You see, this is one of the reasons the remake is gonna stink. They will never go ahead with something like that now. Too dark.

Yeah basically all the spoilers will be gone but I think they will do something more different than the scene that Lecter mentioned, most of the time the remakes change some of the scenes around or put a different approach to it. Well whoever plays Rutger Haeur's role has big shoes to fill, I like to see Woody Harrelson take a stab at it

I'd go for Michael Madsen

Isn't Dave Meyers like a really bad music video director?

Woohoo! More Jake Wade Wall! If you'll excuse me, I'm going to vomit.

This is the douche that thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread because he wrote When A Stranger Calls, right?

...and he came up with the oh-so-brilliant (and completely unthought of! ...unless you count the comic books) idea of "What happened to Michael Myers between '63 and '78?"

I'll tell you what: he sat still.

Yay.

But honestly, it probably will be pretty bad. Even I can admit that.

Jessica Biel's not involved anymore?

She isn't exactly in the position to turn down roles....

I don't think she realises that Texas Chainsaw Massacre was her biggest hit movie, by well over $30M domestic.

Mind you she has that massive film with Christina Ricci, Chad Michael Murray and Gulp.....50 Cent. Jesus Christ.

Too bad it appears Biel isn't involved anymore. She could use a hit. Maybe there's another female role for her?

Look on the brightside though guys. With the people making it, this movie was going to suck from the beginning anyways. At least with Sophia casted you get at least get some natural charisma and charm, rather than someone like bland Camille Belle.

Who would cast one of the Bush twins in a movie! This is a horrible idea!

I see the man behind WASC is behind this. That should ensure a dire movie and a number 1 hit.

Why are we now remaking movies that are barely 20 years old?

Rutger Hauer must be rolling in his grave.

Well, at least he got to star in one of last year's best blockbusters.

Too bad his next film is Goal! 2: Living the Dream...
