Gonna go see American Dreamz early
I have hopes for this, but I have a vague Bullworth premonition as well. could be great conceptually, and incredibly painful to sit through.
What vibe are you guys getting for this movie?

I was really looking forward to this, but the toxic WOM and early reviews have kind of turned me off. Let me know what you think, though. I might still check it out this weekend.

I think it'll be a disaster, but I like all involved so I get no pleasure from that.

I'd say if you liked Saved, this will be a go.

I liked Bullworth, but I think that like American Dreamz, it will be good to see it early before it's pulled from the theatres.

I can't wait, but I get the feeling it will almost certainly be terrible....
Yet, I wait... and wait. I've been anticipating this for quite some time.

See, Bullworth is the kind of movie I like to talk about, abstractly at that, incredibly moreso than actually sitting through a viewing of it.

I saw this a month ago at a school showing and it was received very well with some of the loudest laughter that I can recall hearing while watching a comedy. WOM has not been toxic among general audiences who have seen the film.

It needed some major editing and rewriting, but I've seen it twice now and enjoyed it each time. The concept, story, and acting are a lot better than the actual film itself, if that makes sense!

I think it looks fantastic. I'm seeing it on Saturday, along with FRIENDS WITH MONEY and THANK YOU FOR SMOKING.
